"We were just trying to keep the scene safe so it didn't escalate to more. My kudos go out to the trained professionals that have to see and deal with things like this on a daily basis. I hope there is an excellent support system in place for these individuals that deal with vicarious trauma," says Dave Smith, who with his family and girlfreind witnessed the aftermath of the crash. "Things can happen fast in this life-make the most of it!"
