Fatal crash on Dinosaur National Monument scenic drive

An 18-year-old woman from Dinosaur, Colorado died after a single vehicle accident on Harpers Corner Road in Dinosaur National Monument, according to a press release from the National Park Service.
The driver, who hasn’t been identified yet, was last seen Friday evening.
On Saturday morning, a passerby called 911 to report a vehicle off the road about three miles north of Highway 40, on Harpers Corner Road.
NPS said in the press release The Artesia Fire Department responded to the scene and the park service and Colorado State Patrol are investigating the accident.
The road will be closed in the area from Monument Headquarters to County Road 16 for the investigation, but should reopen Saturday afternoon.
