29 Road back open after early morning shooting
An early morning shooting Tuesday has sent one to the hospital and another person has been detained.
Just after 4:20 Tuesday morning reports of a possible shooting started to come in.
The Grand Junction Police Department say they were dispatched to a report of a male in the roadway with injuries to his face, possibly by gunshots.
The man was conscious and breathing when officers arrived. He was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
It happened outside a home off 29 road in Grand Junction.
29 road was closed for several hours between North Avenue and Bunting Avenue in both directions.
