It's a hot button issue for a lot of folks, that’s how to share the road as drivers and cyclists.
It's something a state group hoped to shed some light on Tuesday night. Bicycle Colorado hosted the chat at Central Library.
They talked about common causes of crashes between motorists and bicyclists and how to avoid them, illegal behavior and proper etiquette.
“Honestly, the crashes that we're seeing can be prevented by just looking out for each other and leaving space, and treating each other like human beings. Whether we’re drivers or bicyclists,” said Molly McKinley, Bicycle Colorado.
The program was started in Fort Collins. Bicycle Colorado regularly puts on classes all around the state. Find upcoming classes here.
