ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (KKCO/KCJT) The Denver Broncos hosted joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers Friday morning. Both teams worked with each other in drills and competed in team-on-team training.
Joe Flacco was critical of the team saying that practice didn't go well but that is what it is for and wants to improve in the second day of joint practices on Saturday.
The 49ers felt comfortable sharing the field with the Broncos and liked the challenge it brought to help improve their team overall.
Grand Junction Central alum Ben Garland was signed in free agency in the offseason to San Francisco. He's glad that opportunity has brought him back to Colorado and be able to spend time with his family and friends. He is excited to work in head coach Kyle Shanahan's offensive scheme.
