GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Country Jam brings more than just country music fans to the Grand Valley, it also means a lot of money for local businesses.

According to an impact study from Colorado Mesa University, the music festival brings more than $11 million to the economy.

For hotel managers, that means they’re completely booked.

“[people] showing up last minute too, ‘do you have a room, do you have a cot, a piece of floor?" Sarah Urena, Assistant Manager, Mesa Inn, said.

Hotels say in a few weeks, people will already be booking rooms for Country Jam next year.

The Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce says restaurants and other businesses in town see more customers in the mornings and afternoons during the festival, as the headline shows are later in the evening.
