GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The rumors have been swirling around for months, now it looks as though they are confirmed. Community Hospital is being sold.
In a press release Thursday the hospital said its board of trustees has signed a letter of intent to join Centura Health, based in Centennial, Colorado.
Though, a final deal has not yet been reached. Community Hospital opened up their $58 million facility at 2351 G Road in Grand Junction over two years ago.
In a statement, Community Hospital CEO Chris Thomas said, "We are honored and flattered that Centura Health has taken notice of our continued growth and success over the past several years and is expressly interested in partnering with Community Hospital and our medical staff."
