Cold front moving towards the Grand Valley

By  |

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT)-- Colorado is known for extremes when it comes to weather and the next couple days will be no different.

Temperatures well below average are expected to be seen with this cold front. We could see a light dusting of snow, as well as major wind gusts.
We will be near freezing tonight and are expected to go below freezing Thursday night.

There’s a few things people need to keep in mind as the cold front moves in.

Make sure your swamp coolers are turned off and that the water is drained out of them, and the same goes for irrigation pumps.

Also, tie-down lawn furniture as well or anything that can be easily blown away by the wind and bring your pets inside.
