"CodeRed" Emergency Alert Systems for Delta County

DELTA, Colo. (KJCT)-- Delta County Sheriff’s Office wants to make sure you’re prepared for any emergency.

The Sheriff’s office is asking Delta County residents to sign up for the alert system so you and your family can stay alert in the case of an emergency.

To register, you can text “WestRegionENS” to 99411 on your cell phone. You can also go to Delta county’s website and click on CodeRed Sign up as well.

“If there is an evacuation order, from a wildfire to a flood, to a dangerous individual out on the loose, we can let you and your family know what’s going on and get updates from law enforcement and first responders.” Says Kris Stewart, Emergency Management Coordinator.

Registration is free and there will be a county-wide emergency test next Wednesday for the system.
