Child's body found believed to be Sebastian Rodriguez

On Friday afternoon, July 3rd a child's body was found in the Eagle River just east of Dotsero.

The identification has not been released. The cause of death has not been determined.

The body was recovered in the same area crews have been searching for three year old Sebastian Rodriguez.

Sebastian went missing in Eagle County on June 5. Crews expanded the search area when an article of clothing was found in the Eagle River and was positively identified as Sebastian's. The phone he was carrying when he went missing was also found in the river below the apartment complex where he lived.

Sebastian was reported missing from Eagle Villas apartments on June 5 at about 9:20 p.m.
