Update on body found near Riverside Parkway, named has been released

Catherine Pokusa, a 40 year-old female resident of Clifton, Colorado was found dead Saturday, Jan. 4 near Riverside Parkway.
Her body was discovered just off Riverside Parkway near the railroad tracks, which is an area behind the Lowe's Hardware store in the Rimrock Marketplace.
Our crew on scene told us a forensics team was there investing, but the cause of death is still unknown.
The cause and the manner of death is pending toxicology, but there is nothing suspicious at this time.
The law enforcement agency overseeing this investigation is the Grand Junction Police Department. Please contact them for any further details regarding this case.
