GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT)-- Black Friday brought hundreds of people out to local Grand Junction stores. Cabelas seemed to be a community favorite.
“I mean when you can save 200 dollars on an item, it’s worth getting up for,” says Grand Junction Resident Susan Woods.
People were loading up on everything outdoors.
“The values, I came in for a pair of binoculars, but I’m looking for some clothes for myself and my daughter.”
A Recent Study shows that Black Friday brings sales up at local shops by 43 percent.
“The deals and getting out there and getting the things that you want to find, it’s kind of like a little scavenger hunt if you will,” says Grand Junction Resident Vickie Becohe.
