GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The annual HopeWest Holiday Show was held this Saturday and Sunday at the Two Rivers Convention center in Grand Junction.
Several hundred guests attending both days were there with all proceeds benefiting HopeWest Kids, a child and teen grief program, which provides support to local children and teens grieving the loss of a loved one. HopeWest expected to raise about $250,000 this weekend.
“What is raised here is for individual counseling, family groups, the camps we do. So it's really important for our program,” said Joni Beckner with HopeWest.
About 700 children and teens across western Colorado received support last year.
