The Grand Junction Regional Airport just added a new flight. You can now fly direct to Phoenix, Arizona.

Allegiant Airlines announced Tuesday morning that the new year-round route will operate twice a week, starting on April 5.

To help celebrate the company is offering airfare for as low as $49 each way, but that deal won’t last long.

They say you need to book before January 16, 2019.

The new route will allow between 177-186 passengers to travel each flight.

“We’ve seen quite a bit of demand of folks who are in the Grand Junction area traveling down to the Phoenix area for vacation but we also see an opportunity for folks from Phoenix to enjoy a getaway to the cool Colorado summer,” said Kim Shaefer, Director of Public Relations for Allegiant.

Allegiant Airlines began in 1999.
