GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT)- Listed below are closures on events, schools, and businesses/building on the Western Slope due to the outbreak of COVID-19

EVENTS:
-JUCO World Series
-VSA Season 49 Postponed at Montrose Pavilion
-Quarterly Veterans Memorial service suspended
-All CMU Theatre and Music Productions

SCHOOLS:
ALL SCHOOLS BUILDINGS WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 17 DUE TO GOVERNORS ORDERS.

Colorado Mesa University (Online learning rest of the semester)
Mesa County Valley School District 51 buildings closed until April 17
Montrose County School District buildings closed until April 17
Delta County School District/ Technical College of the Rockies buildings closed until April 17
Garfield County School District buildings closed until April 17

BUSINESSES/ BUILDINGS
-Powderhorn Ski Resort
-Grand Valley Power Office has extended closure till April 17. (Will continue to work remotely)
-Mesa County Workforce Center closed until further notice
-Fruita Community Center
-Veteran's Memorial Community Center
-Avalon Theatre closed until further notice
-Bookcliff Activity Center
-Grand Junction Convention Center (formerly Two Rivers Convention Center)
-Grand Junction Senior Recreation Center
-Grand Junction Visitor's Center
-Las Colonias Park Amphitheater – no immediate shows are currently scheduled.
-Lincoln Park Barn
-Mesa County Libraries closed until April 6
-Orchard Mesa Community Center Pool
-Veterans Art Center closed (all classes canceled)
-Salvation Army Thrift Stores in Clifton, Delta, and Montrose
