GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - A local family is reaching out after a devastating diagnosis.
Nine-year-old Antonio Duckworth was complaining constantly of headaches and doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong. After a routine eye check, the scan revealed the hemorrhaging of his brain. Antonio learned Wednesday that this was a cancerous tumor. He and his family are in Denver currently for surgery and radiation.
“Antonio is the most caring-hearted little boy. It’s definitely been a struggle; not every family is going to go and expect to be told that someone has cancer,” says Antonio’s cousin Shawntaye Hunsberger.
