GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - A local doctor is reminding folks that generosity isn’t just for the holidays.
Dr. Jennifer Bebee of Western Colorado Hearing and Balance is teaming up with Operation Interdependence – a local nonprofit that sends care packages to soldiers overseas. These care packages include a letter from someone in Grand Junction thanking them for their sacrifice and a treat from home—like Enstrom’s candy.
“The owner of our practice understands how important it is to give our service members a little piece of home. We chose that charity specifically for that. We really are so incredibly grateful to all of the veterans who are currently serving overseas that we wanted to do anything we can,” says Jeffrey Stroud with Western Colorado Hearing and Balance.
Dr. Bebee is fundraising now until the end of January and will match every dollar received up to $2,000.
