Minivan fully engulfed in flames on I-70 in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT)- The Lower Valley Fire District and the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a minivan that was fully engulfed in flames Saturday afternoon around 2:00 near mile marker 25 on I-70.

The initial investigation shows that the minivan's tire blew out while traveling westbound. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

When crews arrived, the driver of the van was nowhere to be found.
