Free lunch for vets at Texas Roadhouse

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - Texas Roadhouse had their ninth anniversary of giving to those who serve.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Veterans and active duty military members enjoyed a free meal at all locations across the country. It was a full house at the restaurant off of North Avenue. To many veterans, little things like free lunch can show a lot of appreciation.

“I think I’m seeing it more than I ever have, I think it’s because people have finally woke up to what we actually, as veterans, have done and have been through… because some of us didn’t come back,” says veteran Bill Sanders.

Veterans like Bill had their choice of ten entrees and all were served with a thank you for their sacrifice.
