Public discussion of Redlands roundabout art

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The Redlands roundabout on Broadway was finished last October and now, it’s looking at a little bit of a makeover.

The City of Grand Junction is asking for public input on the art to beautify the traffic circle. They’re already considering categories like local animals, plants, and landscape, but they want to hear from you. Folks are already considering the different possibilities.

"If they're putting something, put it to where it doesn't impede the visibility of the traffic circle. Other than that, the residents are the ones that are going to be seeing it every day, so I think they should have a little more input on what they're going to put out there," says the owner of Canyon View Car Wash John Pugliese.

They’re gathering feedback Wednesday night from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Broadway Elementary School.
