Dog rescued in crevice in the Rabbit Valley Area

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KJCT)- After a dog was reported trapped deep into a crevice in the Rabbit Valley Area, the Lower Valley Fire Protection District, Mesa County Sheriff's Office, and Mesa County Search and Rescue responded, and were able to rescue the dog.

It happened around 2 p.m. on Friday, when a hiker called 911 to report their dog, Tucker, was trapped down a 20 feet deep crevice.

Thankfully, Tucker was safely rescued!
