CLIFTON, Colo. (KJCT)- Beginning on Thursday, October 10, Clifton Water District crews will be installing mainline valves at the intersection of 2nd and Front, and 4th and Front Streets. Customers on 2nd and 4th Streets may be impacted with limited to no water service between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day.

The district will be notifying the affected individual customers on Wednesday, October 7.

They also warn customers that once water is restored, customers may experience "cloudy" water, which is the result of excess air in the waterline. However, this will dissipate over time and use, and that the water is perfectly safe to use and consume.
