DELTA, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The Nevada State Patrol has captured Christopher Tiffany, the suspect who fled the scene of a shooting in Delta.
The Delta County Sheriff Mark Taylor says 40-year-old Christopher Tiffany was found in West Wendover, Nevada. That's on the Utah and Nevada border.
He was leaving a grocery and hardware store at the time when Nevada Highway Patrol and West Wendover police found him.
Tiffany was wanted in connection to a shooting that happened just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened on Oak Creek road in Delta County.
Tiffany shot a 20-year-old man wounding him in the neck.
The victim was taken to St. Mary’s hospital and is in critical but stable condition.
Tiffany was en route to the Elko County Jail last night and will be held there pending extradition to Colorado.
