GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Feel a shake overnight in the Glenwood Springs area? A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded just north of Glenwood Springs at about 2 a.m. Friday.
That’s according to the U.S Geological Survey. That agency says it may be an aftershock from the 3.6 magnitude quake back in December. Seismologists say aftershocks are possible this long after an initial quake.
No damage has been reported so far, as of Friday morning.
The earthquake was recorded two miles north of Glenwood Springs.
