GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- Two school board seats are up for grabs in the upcoming fall election.
Current incumbent Doug Levinson is in District A and Paul Pitton sits in District B. Both men are running for re-election.
If you want to battle it out for the seat, you have to file a written notice of intention, pick up a nomination petition and return it with the needed 50 signatures.
The signatures must be from registered voters living within District 51 boundaries.
Petitions can be picked up at the Office of the Superintendent.
You need to live within the district you intend on running for and be a registered voter-for 12 consecutive months.
