Police said Gena Anderson, 46, was arrested on assault charges, and that William Clark, 32, was booked on charges not related to the case.

Anderson and Clark were both hospitalized after they allegedly stabbed each other on Sunday. It happened around 12:30 p.m. under the overpass bridge on 30 Road, just south of E Road.

They were stopped when a passerby pulled out a gun and held them until police arrived, according to police.

Police papers show the two had recently gotten out of a relationship.

After an investigation, police said they found that Anderson made the first move and was arrested for second-degree assault.
