Growing up in Grand Junction, Erin was excited to join the KKCO 11 News team in May of 2019 as a reporter and morning producer.

Though she’s from Bakersfield, California, Erin has moved all over North America with her family, even living in Canada at one point.

After high school, Erin attended the University of Colorado Denver, earning her degree in Communications and a minor in Public Relations.

While in college, she worked with an organization that helped women who have been incarcerated receive housing and support. Part of her non-profit work included going into different prisons within the Denver area to gain a better understanding of how prison systems could operate better.

For years, Erin has been competing in pageants and held the title of Miss Colorado Teen United States back in 2015.

Erin’s interest in journalism started towards the end of her college career. She worked as an intern for 9NEWS Denver, taking on a web producer position and shadowing reporters.

Erin is a big Colorado Rockies fan, enjoys snowboarding, has a major sweet tooth (donuts and cupcakes are her favorite), travels as often as possible, loves to work out and adores her two dogs, Odie and Sheba.
