Paulina Aguilar is a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor.
Paulina attended Citrus Community College in California, where she was a member of the softball team. Paulina got her start working behind the scenes as a production assistant on projects such as People’s Choice Awards, MTV Music Awards and various commercials.
Continuing her studies at California State University of Fullerton, she received a BA in Radio/TV/Film. After graduating from CSUF, Paulina worked for the CW Network and on the set of Grey's Anatomy. She later transitioned into broadcasting where she hosted live shows for AfterBuzz TV. She covered events such as The Academy Country Music Awards. Paulina got her start in news working as a News Assistant for ABC7 in Los Angeles.
She attributes her love for sports to her family. She traveled with her two sisters and cousin while they played club soccer in Sweden. Watching the Lakers 3-peat championship is one of her favorite childhood memories. During her time at CSUF, Paulina coached high school volleyball and softball.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Paulina enjoys an outdoor lifestyle with her husky, Shaw. Don’t be fooled by her pint size stature, She loves spending her free time listening to live music, traveling the world and being with family and friends.
Paulina received a bone marrow transplant from her father and years later, donated a bone marrow to her youngest sister, thus making medical history being the first person in the world to be a bone marrow recipient and donor.
