Adam Woodbrey is thrilled to be part of the Grand Junction news scene. Before coming to the Western Slope, Adam started out his news career as an intern for KSL 5 Television in Salt Lake City. After the internship was over, he was immediately hired as a part-time associate producer, which eventually landed him full-time producing gig for the 4:30 morning broadcast. All of which was happening as he was studying Journalism and Media at Utah Valley University. After producing for two years, Adam decided it was time to make the transition to in front of the camera.
Adam started out as a producer and reporter for the early morning Daybreak shows, before taking on reporting full-time as a multimedia journalist. But now new doors opened and he's back to producing, but taking on anchoring instead. You can catch him every weeknight at the desk. But if you want to catch his reports, not to worry, he'll still have plenty of stories to tell.
When Adam isn't doing news related things, he loves spending time with his wife and two boys. He also loves movies, (the longer the better, some of his favorites at 3 hours plus.) He enjoys a good book, he's a bit of a history buff and watch enthusiast. Adam loves going for drives, spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, camping, fishing or swimming.
