Aurora officer promoted after being found drunk behind wheel
A police officer in Aurora has been promoted after previously being found drunk and unresponsive while on duty in his squad car in 2019.

AURORA, Colo. (CNN) - An Aurora police officer has been promoted three and a half years after he was found drunk on duty -- and passed out at the wheel of his police vehicle.
Brian Maass talked to the department’s interim police chief about the controversial officer’s job promotion.
