KKCO-TV is accepting applications for a part-time Creative Services Commercial Editor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce, write, shoot, direct and edit station and community promos and commercial spots.

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Be able to assist in other promotion activities when needed, including events & community functions.
Participate in station sponsored events, including promotion and set up of events on occasional weekends.
Assistance with PSA s, PR, and other duties as assigned by Creative Services Director.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
Be able to work with talent, sales staff, clients and have excellent people skills.
Be able to work under deadline pressure and stay detail oriented while juggling multiple projects.
Good verbal & visual communication skills are critical, as this position requires excellent independent workflow.
Editing experience on a non-linear system is required.
Experience with lighting and set design is a plus.

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
Degree in Broadcast Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Production or a related field preferred

EXPERIENCE
Two years professional experience.

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
Non-linear editing systems Lighting Production vehicle
Audio equipment Video camera
Computers Commercial production gear

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Able to lift equipment – 50 pounds
Good hearing and eyesight essential.
Valid driver’s license and passing company driving requirements is mandatory.
