GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The 4A Palisade Bulldogs wrestling team finished up regionals at Montrose High School with three state qualifiers - seniors Dalton Hannigan and Braxton Stewart and junior Randen Espinoza, all ranked wrestlers.

Though Palisade is taking a smaller group to state this season Coach Tate has complete confidence in what they can do at the final level.

Stewart and Espinoza both head back to Denver after failing to place in 2013 ready to finish this season on top.

Meanwhlie Hannigan is a reigning state champion knowing this is one final opportunity to finish his senior year right.

In 5A, the Central Warriors were underestimated the majority of the season. With a young team they had to work hard to prove themselves, and along the way there were a few standouts.

Freshman Riley Garner-Orr entered the season as a kid to keep an eye on, and at regionals he showed why, finishing 3rd with a 32-7 record.

Central's other representative came in the 195's, Rowdy Allen, a junior qualifier who saw state his freshman year but failed to place.

Now, even though there's a lot of nerves, they're ready to perform.
