GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

The Grand Junction Rockies recovered nicely Monday night from their loss the previous day to Idaho Falls.

The Rockies scored 8 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to break a 3-3 tie.

Julian Yan hit a grand slam to begin the onslaught in that inning.

The Rockies move to 4-4 with the win, and will face Orem again on Tuesday to try and get above .500 for the first time all season.
