Penn State's Jerry Sandusky is being sentenced today on child sex abuse charges -- only the latest in a long list of college sports scandals.
In 2012, former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was convicted on 45 of 48 counts of molesting 10 boys over a 15-year period.
Several legal experts say Sandusky will almost certainly spend the rest of his life in prison.
After much public pressure, football coach Joe Paterno resigned amid allegations that he could have done more to bring the abuse to light. The day after this announcement, he was fired by telephone. Paterno died in January 2012.
Crews recently used a forklift to remove the famous statue of Paterno from outside the Penn State football stadium.
