GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The beautiful weather is luring a lot of us outside and those with campers and RV's are starting to head out to enjoy the spring-like weather.
But even with warmer temperatures during the day, our Western Colorado nights continue to cool off to right around freezing.
And as you head out in your camper this season, you'll have to make sure your heaters are working properly.
"We do recommend that the furnace be serviced annually," says Centennial RV parts manager, Dan Sullivan. "That's a very good point for customers to come in and have everything checked out."
A malfunctioning furnace could mean serious problems, bringing a deadly end to any recreational trip.
The carbon monoxide released by those furnaces is known as the silent killer because it's colorless, odorless and basically unnoticeable, until it's too late.
