GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. As of Tuesday, the last highway left closed here in Colorado after September's floods is back open.

In total, 27 highways were closed by the flooding.

Governor Hickenlooper helped reopen Colorado Highway 7 between Lyons and Allenspark to finish the effort.

As a part of the relief efforts, flood victims received hygiene kits, and now, Western Slope residents have the chance to donate to those kits.

"Come and give out of a sense of joy for the blessings you have," says Reverend Ginger Taylor "We believe that this is an abundant community with generous hearts."

Supplies needed for the kits include hand towels, washcloths, wide tooth combs, nail clippers, bars of soap in their original wrappers, toothbrushes in the packaging, and band aids.

To donate, bring your items to the First Congregational UCC at 1425 N 5th st. Right across from Grand Junction High School.
