High school football coaches in Craig resign amid hazing scandal

CRAIG, Colo. (Craig Daily Press) According to the Craig Daily Press, five football coaches from Moffat County High School have resigned amid a scandal involving hazing at a summer camp in Wyoming.

The incident allegedly happened between June 18 - June 20 at a camp in Evanston, Wyoming.

The alleged victims told their parents upperclassman physically attacked freshman, and that the behavior went beyond normal hazing. According to the Craig Daily Press some of the freshman claimed they were hit with urine-filled balloons and attacked in the showers when they were naked.

Evanston police and Craig police are investigating the incident, and no information regarding the students who are accused of hazing has been released.
