GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The law suit against the City of Grand Junction continues today, months after city council approved their panhandling ordinance, and the city only has a few days left to file a response.
After it was passed in February, the American Civil Liberties Union filed a law suit challenging the ordinance, saying it's too broad and violates the right to free speech.
A spokesperson for the city says they have until May 19th to file their response with the courts.
