Police probe hit-and-run that injured pedestrian

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 32-year-old Fort Collins man near Colorado State University.

The Coloradoan reports Stanley Brooks was struck as he crossed the street at the intersection of West Elizabeth and Constitution just before 9 p.m. Thursday.

Police describe the suspect vehicle as a dark red or maroon late-1990s or early-2000s sedan -- possibly a Toyota or Honda.
