GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

A man was rushed to St. Mary's Hospital Saturday night after a car the man was working on fell on his chest.

The Police Department received the call just before 9 in the evening from 3231 Main Street in Clifton.

The condition of the man is unknown at this time.

This incident follows a similar one from earlier in the week, when a Rifle man died after a vehicle he was working on apparently fell on top of him.

Garfield County Deputy Coroner, Chandra Mortensen, said 73 year old Bill Jewell's wife found him dead at the couple's home when she returned from work earlier this week.

Mortensen says she's still waiting on autopsy results but all indications show that Jewell was crushed to death by the vehicle.
