GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

The boys’ funeral took place today in Palisade where friends and family were able to pay their respects.

Plenty of tears were shed today at the Palisade Christian Church as family and friends, and even those who didn't know them gathered to finally say goodbye to the young Jensen boys.

Some people told us they were just happy the boys were finally at peace.

Photos, poems, flowers and even some of the boys' favorite toys filled the church in memory of William and Tyler.

Those gathered were happy to be able to grieve together.

"Be assured and confidently say I will see these little ones again. We will weep and mourn for a time," said the priest.

Earlier in the day, the mother of the two boys, Heather Jensen, faced her second day in court, where she was formally charged with two counts of child abuse resulting in death, two counts of criminally negligent homicide and one count of making false reports to authorities.

Her bond is currently set at $150,000.

A review hearing is set for next Thursday, the 14th.

William and Tyler were laid to rest at the Palisade cemetery next to their father.
