GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

Now that President Obama is starting his second term in office, we asked what you wanted to see from the president over the next four years. Here's what a few of you had to say.

“I'd hope that we have some ability to reach across the aisle and for both parties to come together because I think one of the most disruptive things going on with our government today, and in our country, is the divisiveness between the two political parties” said Biff Messinger of Grand Junction.

“I'd like to see him come to the realization that the budget needs to be balanced. We need to not spend more than we take in” said Rudy Roybal of Grand Junction.

“Try to keep (the U.S.) from going to war because it takes a toll on the economy and everything, and causes depressions and stuff like that” explained Darrel Boydston.
