GRAND JUNCTION -

The presidential election is months away.

Still, when you turn on your TV chances are you'll see a political commercial.

They’re playing on most stations, both English and Spanish.

A lot of the time these ads are slandering the competition, something several people say they don't want to see.

“I often wonder what the other side of this story is,” Ellie Walworth said.

“I think they're deceiving, I think they're destructive, and I don't think they do us any good,” Pat Steele said.

Another pro-republican group just announced it'll be pouring $25 million into new TV ads, blaming President Obama for the sluggish economy, and calling for lower taxes and less regulations.

The ads track comments and proposals made by GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

It’ll air in nine battleground states, including Colorado.

So whether you like them or not, get ready for a lot more campaign commercials.
