EDUCATION: Graduated Cum Laude from California State University San Marcos with a degree in Mass Media.

EXPERIENCE: I am thrilled to be the Weeknight Anchor/Producer for KJCT News 8. Before my time at KJCT, I was the Morning Anchor and Executive Producer for another station in Grand Junction. I also spent time in Northern Minnesota working for KAWE, as an Anchor/Reporter. I’ve worked as a Producer’s Assistant for ABC7 in Los Angeles and KNSD in San Diego as well.

INTERESTS: I love to be active; any sport, I’m interested! I also like to travel; in college I studied abroad in Spain and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Being from Wisconsin, I am an avid Packers fan and love watching football. My dog even has a cheese head! I also like to write and blog about my latest and greatest cooking recipes. I’ve fallen in love with hiking, fishing and camping from living on the Western Slope, so that is usually where I am when I’m not in the newsroom!
