Authorities have arrested a 22-year-old Utah man on charges of attacking a woman with a machete.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/ZvKz5i ) that the incident occurred after Stuart Wade Mojado kicked everyone out of his house in Fort Duchesne, Utah, during a party early Sunday morning.
When a woman came back in to get her cellphone, he struck her twice on her arm with a machete.
Authorities say the woman fled the house and went to a hospital where she underwent surgery.
Uintah County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mojado early Sunday morning at his house after getting a search warrant.
They say he was intoxicated at the time of the attack. Authorities found illegal drugs and a firearm in the house.
The woman is expected to recover from the stab wounds.
