A former Utah middle school vice principal facing charges of child sex abuse has been found dead.
The Vernal Police Department says 43-year-old David Alan Papadakos was reported missing and suicidal Sunday.
Police say his body was found Thursday in his car on State Road 121 in western Uintah County.
Papadakos was vice principal at Vernal Middle School last October when he was charged with two counts of aggravated sex abuse and 10 counts of forcible sex abuse.
Prosecutors alleged Papadakos repeatedly abused a male relative for two years.
Papadakos was scheduled to appear on Jan. 24 for a preliminary court hearing.
