A two-car crash around 10am Monday morning has left one person hospitalized.  The crash happened at the intersection of North Ave. and 12th Street.

According to our crew at the scene who spoke with police, a silver passenger car ran a red light and slammed into a white SUV.

The impact caused the SUV to roll, trapping the driver inside.  That driver was extricated and transported to St. Mary's hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the car was not injured, but was cited and released.

Alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the crash.
