Authorities say two men have been arrested after a homeless man was found dead in a river bottom in Pueblo.
Pueblo County Coroner James Kramer says 64-year-old Michael Richards sustained blunt-force trauma to the head and asphyxiation "consistent with strangulation." Richards' body was found in the Fountain Creek river bottom near the police department's shooting range Friday morning.
The Pueblo Chieftain (http://bit.ly/LGxppa ) reports 54-year-old Hugh Smith and 53-year-old Richard Sheppard were arrested on charges of second-degree murder. Police say the victim and suspects are transients.
