GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

Grand Junction Police say a woman in her 50's is recovering after being stabbed in the head and neck.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

When law enforcement arrived, they found a woman bleeding heavily from her head.  She indicated she had been stabbed.

Police say they tracked down the suspect to the area near 16th St. and North Ave, where they found the woman's husband, Jesus Villarruel, with bloody clothing.
