Ute Water: Expect lane closure all day Tuesday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -

One lane of Patterson Road has been closed to traffic Tuesday morning because of a waterline break, according to officials with the Ute Water Conservancy District.

The break occurred between 25 Road and 25 1/2 Road. Officials are investigating the cause.

The right lane in the westbound direction is closed to traffic while crews repair the waterline.

Ute Water officials ask that you avoid the area due to congestion and for the safety of their workers.

According to Joseph Burtard with Ute Water, the commuters can expect the right lane to be closed all of Tuesday.

No businesses or homes have lost water due to the break, said Burtard.
